The ColorOfChange shirts should read “Kanye IS right” instead of “Kanye was right”. Bush might care about black people now, but only insofar as it impacts his career and his legacy. He still doesn’t care FOR them. I know it’s semantics, but I think it would be folly to fail to recognize the difference.

Kanye West is only speaking what people have known all along, Bush isn’t for the African American because if he was NAACP functions would have been a priority. He only cares because he is under scrutony as a result of delay in assistance for hurricane Katrina victims. He will have to give an account to God for that and many other things as well.
All we can do is stay strong like so many of our forefathers were and keep our heads up like 2Pac proclaimed in his music for all our people-
