It’s hard to imagine how Time magazine managed to forget about one of the best hip-hop albums to come out in the 90’s, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.” It is one of the most critically acclaimed albums of that time and I’m pretty sure she won 5 Grammys for it. She wrote, arranged and produces almost every track on the album and yet, she still didn’t make it to the “which album deserves to be on the list” survey to the right of the page. I believe she had the most success of bringing a hip-hop artist into the mainstream without disturbing or distorting her true image. Shame on Time, but i forgive you.
